Clear skies and cleaner inboxes!

As we soak up the last stretch of summer, it’s the perfect time for a little inbox refresh. This month’s update introduces smarter email controls that give your users more choice in what communications they receive, without sacrificing the messages you need them to see. From streamlined opt-outs to clearer message types, it’s all about keeping communication clean, simple, and in your hands. Read below to find out more!

✨ New Features ✨

Email Unsubscribe & Essential Emails

We’ve added new email user preference settings that give users more control over what lands in their inbox, while still making sure you can reach them when it really matters. With a single click, users can now opt out of non-essential emails (more on that below) without losing access to their account or test opportunities. A new "Receive updates via email" setting, found in each user’s My Preferences, controls whether they get general updates (such as Ted emails and other project emails not marked as essential), and it’s turned on by default.

Every Centercode email now includes a footer that clearly shows why the user received it, whether it’s considered essential, and how to unsubscribe if it’s not.

As an admin, you can now explicitly mark outgoing emails as "essential," which overrides user preferences when necessary. And don’t worry, emails sent directly to individual users (like password resets) are always treated as essential by default.

These new tools make it easier to respect user preferences and ensure your critical messages still get through, giving you more clarity, control, and confidence every time you hit "send!"

  • Corrected an issue with .txt and .csv files when adding to an email list invitation source type.
